“Hi! I’m Holly Morrell, the proud owner of Genesis Small Animal Foods. I’ve worked in the wonderful world of pet food since 1982. In 1996 I began working internationally selling and marketing Canadian-grown Genesis products. I’m thankful to the many nutritionists, colleagues and mentors I’ve worked with in the past, and look forward to exciting times ahead as we grow.
In 2017, when the opportunity presented itself, I purchased the Genesis Ultra Premium Small Animal Food from the larger Genesis pet food business. I’m thrilled to achieve my dream of building my own Canadian Pet Food company and promoting our Genesis products around the world.
In order to compete internationally, Genesis products are of a consistent, high quality that meet high European & APAC requirements. My commitment to this high quality remains steadfast, and it is rewarding to work with local producers of fresh Canadian ingredients to deliver that promise.
When we began selling Genesis Small Animal food in the mid-1990s we wanted to deliver the best innovative small animal food products using local Canadian ingredients. I’ve enjoyed watching the brand grow and develop a very loyal following around the world. I look forward to what lies ahead in both international and our own backyard, Canada.
